Week in Review & IMM

IN MY MAILBOX: 12.18.11

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren because:

"I get books to read and then ultimately share my thoughts about with my readers. As much as I want to, I can’t possibly read every book I receive. Yet, I still wanted a way to feature those books on the blog, even though it might not be in the form of a review. Problem solved! Every week I'd share the books I received that week... ones I'd bought, or gotten at the library, and ones that I'd receive to review on the blog. That way I could mention titles that might not otherwise get some face-time on The Story Siren..."

I find the same thing happening at A Backwards Story. I'm so backed up on reviews atm... That's why I like these videos!

Comments

  1. Starters!! Lies Beneath!! A Million Suns!! Jealous!! AMS isn't out until March here in AU, but I am so tempted to buy it online to read earlier. \

And I have been hearing SO much about The Fault in Our Stars lately. I have yet to read a John Green novel, perhaps this is a good time to start?? Awesome mailbox, hope you enjoy these, Bonnie!

  8. That was a great IMM vid. Very interesting looking books. You brought a lot to my attention.

I need to put some on my TBR pile. The Mocking bird and The Rival and their newer covers you showed sound great. Love the Mockingjay pin you got from your friend.

I've not heard of Dia Frampton so I shall have a listen on youtube.

Don't Breathe A Word sounds a bit frightening and the glitter magnet was gorgeous.

    Have fun with all that.

I do love all the Cinder art cover designs, magnificent.

    1. Thank you so much! :) I love Daisy Whitney so much...and I've never been huge on contemporary. But if she writes it, I will come. I'm SO excited to dive into my RIVALS ARC! Isn't that pin fabulous? I was happy and surprised and shocked! I've coveted such a pin for so long!

You'll have to tell me what you think of Dia. I really rooted for her to win. I don't even remember the other guy's name.

DON'T BREATHE A WORD *is* frightening in a realistic way, but that just makes it resonate more!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the CINDER cover designs. I thought they were beautiful and loved Rich Deas' inside glimpse at making a cover!!
