Week in Review: The Library Edition

Week in Review

The Giveaway Edition!

I snagged so many amazing books at the library this week that I had to sub-title this week's post in honor of them!

This is a round-up of the past few weeks since I've been AWOL, so it's a bit bigger, though I haven't really bought stuff, so it's not too huge.  And...you may notice that in the video, I list last Sunday's date.  Um, I filmed this a week ago and didn't have time to post it?  ^^;  I only got one or two things this week, though, so next week is find for sharing them!

[Yeah, that's...I haven't done a Week in Review since May 06th, so that's a month of books.  And that list looks long, I know, but I usually read a lot more than that in a month!  The first six were from before that long gap, and the final four were from this past week.  It took me two weeks to read the three books in the middle because I...wasn't reading.  I chose something that didn't require a lot of attention to read!]

{I've been really wanting to read this one.  I like that it's about Hitler's rise to power and the families living in Germany at the time rather than the Holocaust.  I've been trying to read books on this topic!  I'm especially intrigued because Erik Larson wrote this, and his books are said to read really well!}

*SPIRIT'S PRINCESS by Esther M. Friesner

*QUICKSILVER by Stephanie Spinner
{It's been a few weeks now, but Tamora Pierce either rated this or QUIVER by the same author with four or five stars on GoodReads, and mythology is always interesting to me, so I snagged them both!}

  4. Cool fact: Bonnie lived in JAPAN FOR TWO YEARS. How awesome are you? Do you speak Japanese at all? And has anyone ever told you that you have a great speaking voice? It's something to do with the way you pronounce your words. I just like listening to you. Hopefully that doesn't sound weird XDD

    And gosh, I know the feeling of so much to read! But, if I could make the time, I'd totally use some to read Underworld, Black Heart, and Sirenz! They just seem like such great books. And Sirenz seems so funny :D Amazing stuff this week!
