This past week, there was SO MUCH amazing book news, from info drops on upcoming releases to announcements about various television and movie projects. Because you may have missed them, here is a round-up of all the news I posted about on BWW this past week alone!

*Did you know that there is going to be a prequel to The Hunger Games? It now has a cover, release date, and summary!

*Information has FINALLY been released about the movie adaptation of V.E. Schwab's A Darker Shade of Magic -- and wait until you see who the showrunner is!
(And, hey, that was the second piece of V.E. Schwab news in the past couple of weeks! You all saw that The Archived is being developed for TV, right!?)

*Did you know that the team that adapted Shadowhunters for TV is now working to bring House of Night to the big screen?

*This news had me positively flailing: Divergent author Veonica Roth announced a brand-new series! It's her first adult novel and the excerpt is AMAZING!

*And of course, the news that took social media by storm: The casting list was revealed for the upcoming Netflix series Shadow and Bone, based on Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse!
