April in Review: Including videos featuring my April Book Haul & What I Read This Month!

I am a book DRAGON!

I read 23 books this month, you guys. TWENTY THREE. That's a larger than average number for me! Granted, 8 of the books were graphic novels and 4 of them were re-reads, BUT STILL. I'm pretty impressed with myself.

I don't know about you guys, but this week is really going to hurt my wallet. New books from Sarah J. Maas and Rick Riordan, a series finale from Amy Tintera, a new book from local author Tiffany Schmidt, and oh, so much more!

I have SO MANY books I want to read in May...do you think I can top what I read this month!?

So much to look forward to!

Are you going to BEA at the end of May? Let me know; maybe we can meet up!

I always look forward to this time of year. I love meeting new people and seeing familiar faces and just talking about books with people. I can't wait!

YouTube Goals:

I recently talked about how I wanted to vlog more frequently, what was stopping me, and have more than just a couple random YouTube videos here and there. This past month, I posted 12 videos, which is actually pretty good! That averages out to about 3 a week!

What kind of videos would you want to see? Design vlogs are still my favorites!

April Book Haul!

I had a really fun haul this month. I got a lot of books for $1 each from a local Library Sale, purchased a few, and got a few for review. This was the month of digital advance copies. I got SO MANY books I've been highly anticipating from authors such as Marie Lu and Julie C. Dao. I barely know where to begin! (Okay, that's a lie. We all known I'm going to read WILDCARD first.) LOVE AND WAR: An Alex and Eliza story is really high up my list, and I'm beginning MY OXFORD YEAR today!

Here's my haul for April:

MUSIC đŸŽ¶

I haven't listened to anything new this month. I got back into my cast recording for The Great Comet and--oh! The Greatest Showman came out on DVD. I've watched it a few times, and even put it on for background music. "A Million Dreams" has actually been stuck in my head all morning! I still need to watch Jesus Christ Superstar. I was so excited for it to air, and now it's just languishing on my DVR...

MOVIES AND TV

I haven't watched too much lately. I saw the first episode of The Crossing, but I'm already behind. It's intriguing, though! We finally finished watching season one of The Gifted. I also finally got around to watching the first couple of episodes of A Series of Unfortunate Events this past Friday while I was painting my nails. Hopefully I'll continue soon! I haven't had time to see the new Avengers movie yet. I've been trying to stay off social media all weekend to stay away from spoilers! It's hard when you're out in public to stay away from people talking, though! LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

That was my April.

How was yours???

Here's a look at everything that happened this past month!
