Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. This event highlights our most-wanted upcoming releases! |
Title: SACRED SEAS
Author: Karen Amanda HooperRelease Date: November 2014
Publisher: Starry Sky Publishing
WHY?
I was really sad when I heard that Rhemalda Publishing went out of business. I'd worked with them since the very beginning. One of my favorite authors/series to come from them was Karen Amanda Hooper's fantastic The Sea Monster Memoirs:
I'm really excited to see that the author will continue publishing the series on her own with SACRED SEAS! She's also been able to make some revisions to tighten the story and remove some of the slang that it was suggested she insert. So if you had issues with that before, know that the series will read differently now! ^_^
Karen Amanda Hooper is always a pleasure to work with. She's also visited ABS a few times with fun guest posts such as a DANGEROUS DEPTHS playlist and Karen Amanda Hooper and Ariel's Secret Meet-Up!
SUMMARY:
To protect her loved ones, and the realm of Rathe, Yara must confront her own biggest secret and make paramount decisions. The seas are shifting, and changes are on the horizon.
Let the renegotiating begin.

What are you anxiously waiting for this Wednesday?
I have such a hard time with books that don't have a cover yet! I find it really difficult to get excited about a book before its cover reveal. It still sounds good though :)

It's very sad that Rhemelda Publishing went out of business. They had some excellent books. I like that the author decided to publish the third book herself. Great choice.

Ahhhhh, yes, I love Karen's books! This is my favorite series of hers. I was so sad to see Rhemalda go, but I am so happy that Karen is continuing forward with the series. I hope you enjoy it when you read it!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day :)

Thanks so much for giving a shout out to Sacred Seas. <3 I'm excited to share the third book in the trilogy, but I sure will miss my sea peeps.
