*SON by Lois Lowry
{Out Oct. 02, 2012}
{THE GIVER has always been one of my favorite "had to read in school" books.  I still love it.  I've been wanting to re-read it and the two companions GATHERING BLUE and THE MESSENGER for a while and haven't been able to justify the time.  With SON on the horizon tying everything together, now I can feel good about re-reading this!}

Purchased:

*NEVERMORE by James Patterson
{I've been wanting to read this one for a long time, but a bit of it has been spoiled for me, so now I just...am no longer in the mood to read it.  Give it some time....}

*SPARK by Brigid Kemmerer
{Review finally coming soon!  I've been sitting on this one forever.  SPARK is definitely my favorite book by Brigid so far.  I loved finally meeting her at PAYA!}

*PLEASE IGNORE VERA DIETZ by A.S. King
{I hear that this one is AMAZING.  Plus, she has a Printz Honor, which is high praise indeed!  I've been wanting to read this for a while!}

*TOUCH OF POWER by Maria V. Snyder
{I've read INSIDE OUT and OUTSIDE IN, but never read TOUCH OF POWER when everyone buzzed about it  because it reminded me of THE SHIFTER by Janice Hardy, which was still fresh in my mind at the time.  I decided to try this one out at the signing because they were sold out of POISON STUDY.}

*SHADE, SHIFT, SHINE all three by Jeri Smith-Ready
{Everyone has buzzed about these books for so long now, from trusted bloggers to authors.  Supposedly it's paranormal for the non-PN-loving crowd [aka...me!].}

  1. Boy you did a lot of Vlogs this week. I liked the Paya video. Man, you got some interesting books this week. Never have read Lois Lowry. Only read the first book Shade by Jeri-Smith Ready, but her adult stuff is fab, Shade was awesome. Come visit me as well.
