I have a special present for all of you today, bookworms!!!
Author Leigh Bardugo teamed up with her publisher Macmillan to put together an AMAZING package when sending out ARCs (advance reading copies) of SIX OF CROWS.
SIX OF CROWS is a duology set in the Grisha universe that can be read on its own without a prior reading of the Grisha Trilogy. (It takes place two years after the original trilogy and I am so hoping to see some familiar faces!)
It's being blurbed as "Game of Thrones meets Ocean's Eleven. I've previously reviewed the first two books in the trilogy, SHADOW AND BONE and SIEGE AND STORM (But not RUIN AND RISING because, um, final book spoilers!!!)
To celebrate the launch of the new duology, Macmillan sent us this amazing package in the mail:
And in it, we had....
I wanted you to be as excited as I am and have some of this anticipation as well!!!
For those of you who don't want to watch the video, I'll show you a picture of everything that came into that intriguing black package.
I'm so obsessed with the box. It has crow wings!!! And I love the postcard-sized playing card. It's so cool!!! I'm going to have to think of something really special to use my new SIX OF CROWS beauty/pencil bag for! Hmm...writing supplies for some additional inspiration, maybe!! And, of course, the book itself!!! Ahh, SIX OF CROWS!!! I'm so excited to read this! ^_^
