Top Fifteen Books On My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
Every once in a while I participate in this one when I either
1) Like the theme, and/or 2) Have the time!

This week's topic:
Top Fifteen Books On My Winter TBR

This week's topic is almost a month early, but I enjoy rounding up my most-anticipated titles each season. I still haven't read a lot of my Autumn Musts, but I have many of them on my shelf to read over the next month, so there's still time!

Five of these titles were on last week's TTT for anticipated sequels, SO I'm doing a Top 15 to add ten new titles. Okay? Okay ^_^

In no particular order...
Fast grab! Here are nine of the titles on my list! ^.~

1) THE ORPHAN QUEEN by Jodi Meadows

Out March 10, 2015

Probably my MOST anticipated Winter title. I loved Jodi's Incarnate Trilogy, and this one is going to be so heavy on the fantasy. Cannot. WAIT!!!! I'm speechless over this one!

2) VALIANT by Sarah McGuire
Out June 9, 2015

I know this title isn't out for a long while, but I want to read it so, so badly. FAIRY TALES!!! Especially when they're more obscure! My excuse is that I'll need to be prepared early for Fairy Tale Fortnight! ^.~

3) THE RETURN by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Out Feb. 17, 2015

I loved the Covenant Series, and am really excited for the spin-off. I'm also looking forward to attending Apollycon in February to celebrate the book's release! (Will you be there, too?)

My Review: HALF-BLOOD, PURE, DEITY, ELIXIR, APOLLYON

4) A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC by V.E. Schwab

Out Feb. 24, 2015
I adore Victoria Schwab, and have been following her career since the very beginning. She's just getting better and better, and now, with the upcoming release of her second adult novel, is set to improve on the praise she got from her first adult novel VICIOUS. I'm so excited to see what world she introduces us to now!

5) DEFY/IGNITE by Sara B. Larson

DEFY out now
IGNITE out Dec. 30, 2014
I get to be on tour with this series no January 5th! I've had DEFY sitting on my nook since it came out, and I STILL haven't read it! Well...at least I get to gulp down two books at once!

6) BEASTKEEPER by Cat Hellisen

Out Feb. 3, 2015
Once upon a time, I heard that Caat Hellisen was working on a fairy tale based on one of my favorite stories, Beauty and the Beast. I'm so excited to finally read it and discover a new twist to my beloved tale!

7) SEEKER by Arwen Elys Dayton

Out Feb. 10, 2015

This has been on my wishlist since early 2013, way before it started getting discovered and buzz. I'm so bummed I haven't had time to read my copy yet, but so excited. I love a good fantasy, and I'm really looking forward to this one!

8) RED QUEEN by Victoria Aveyard

Out February 10, 2015
I've been hearing really amazing things about this book from people who have already had the pleasure of reading it! I've been trying really hard to wait and read some more 2014 titles, but I'm itching to get back to a good fantasy!

9) FAIREST by Marissa Meyer

Out January 27, 2015
While I'm bummed that we have to wait a little longer for WINTER, I'm so excited to see what makes Queen Levana tick! I'm also excited to host another week-long event in January!

My Reviews: CINDER, SCARLET, CRESS, GLITCHES, THE QUEEN'S ARMY, THE LITTLE ANDROID

10) KING by Ellen Oh

Out December 31, 2014
I decided to wait and binge-read this series back to back instead of reading a book each year. I'm so excited to finally read this. I wanted this series before it ever had a cover, when it was just a publishing deal!!

11) TEAR YOU APART by Sarah Cross

Out January 27, 2015
I am beyond ready to return to Beau Rivage for more fairy tale adventures. KILL ME SOFTLY was a true stand-out for me, one of my favorite fairy tale novels...and a book I would have never read if someone hadn't told me it was a fairy tale in the first place! I've been hoping and hoping that SArah Cross would come out with more tales from Beau Rivage, and she has.

MY REVIEW: KILL ME SOFTLY, AFTER THE BALL

12) THE WINNER'S CRIME by Marie Rutkoski

Out March 3, 2015
I'm kind of afraid to read this, to tell you the truth. I've been sitting on it for a month already. I read the first book so early, and if I read this super early, well... I know there will be no ARCs of the final book, so it wil be a long wait. But I really, really want to get back to this world because it's so good! GAH, SEQUELS!

(I haven't reviewed this yet, because I read it over a year before it came out, and I haven't re-read it yet. I'm planning to do so before I read TWC, so look for a review in 2015!)

13) THE STORYSPINNER by Becky Wallace

Out March 3, 2015

I'm ashamed I haven't read this already, but I'm trying SO HARD to be good and wait. I've wanted to read this one since the publishing deal announcement when I saw Becky's agent tweet about it. IMMEDIATE WANT!

14) DEAREST by Alethea Kontis

Out February 3, 2015

Alethea Kontis is always a favorite of mine. She's a fantastic human being, and her books are just as wonderful! Plus, more fairy tales!!! I'm really excited to finally get to this one!

MY REVIEW: ENCHANTED, HERO

15) THE START OF ME AND YOU by Emery Lord

Out March 31, 2015

I loved OPEN ROAD SUMMER so, so much, and I'm really looking forward to digging into another book by Emery Lord! And you KNOW I'm not big on contemporary! But I can't wait to read this!!!

MY REVIEW: OPEN ROAD SUMMER

  8. Gahhhhh I *need* to read The Winner's Curse! It's one of my top picks for my Christmas book wishlist this year. I've also been seeing lots of positive buzz around Red Queen, and I liked the sound of that one right from the start when I read the description so here's hoping it lives up to expectations!
