WHY?
This book has been on my Goodreads TBR since August 1, 2013. Yep, almost a year ago! As soon as I heard Cynthia Hand was coming out with something new. There was no title, no summary, no anything. All I knew was that it was contemporary. All I knew was that I love her Unearthly series (Haven't read it? Check out my reviews of UNEARTHLY, HALLOWED, and the e-novella, RADIANT!)
This week, we got a summary and a cover. We have DETAILS!!! How could I not choose this as my WoW?
Hand's contemporary novel sounds more serious than it does fluffy. And serious is all the rage right now thanks to the John Green effect! The summary is very mysterious, too. What is Lex's secret? I want to know!
I'll definitely be picking this one up when it comes out in 7.5 months! (Gulp...can you BELIEVE we're officially 6 months away from 2015 now????)
SUMMARY:
There's death all around us.
We just don't pay attention.
Until we do.
The last time Lex was happy, it was before. When she had a family that was whole. A boyfriend she loved. Friends who didn't look at her like she might break down at any moment.
Now she's just the girl whose brother killed himself. And it feels like that's all she'll ever be.
As Lex starts to put her life back together, she tries to block out what happened the night Tyler died. But there's a secret she hasn't told anyone-a text Tyler sent, that could have changed everything.
Lex's brother is gone. But Lex is about to discover that a ghost doesn't have to be real to keep you from moving on.
From New York Times bestselling author Cynthia Hand, THE LAST TIME WE SAY GOODBYE is a gorgeous and heart-wrenching story of love, loss, and letting go.

This sounds like a wonderful read. I love her Unearthly series, although I've been keeping myself in denial that it's over by not reading Boundless. Lol I just need to get it over with. Great pick! Thanks for stopping by. :)
