It's time for a book-for-book challenge! Once a month, Bonnie and I are going to force some kind of awesome book on each other because sharing is caring. This challenge will encourage the both of us to try something that we might not have tried on our own, or make sure we read something that we should have already read. It also gives the challenger the comfort of having someone to talk to who has read the book.
I present for her challenge BORN OF ILLUSION by Teri Brown:

The two of us should have read this book ages ago. We were both pretty excited about it (I know I really was) and just got too busy. I'm making Bonnie read it, then I will also read it. I'm hoping this takes us both out of our book hangovers, because it seems like a really great and thrilling read.
We're also hoping that some of YOU, our dear readers, will join us as well!! We're not only challenging ourselves, but asking you to join in!
Kat picked a great book to start off with, too!
We both stood in line last year at BEA to meet Teri Brown and get signed copies of BORN OF ILLUSION. When we went to ALA in January, we also acquired ARCs of BORN OF DECEPTION:

It isn't right or fair that neither of us have read this yet.
We both really, really want to!
So, Kitty, I'm accepting your challenge and doubling the ante:
If we both love ILLUSION, we move on to DECEPTION,
ummmmmmm, like, immediately.
Deal?

Wish I could take part in this, but my "To Read" pile (as helpfully furnished by several publishing companies) is too large right now! ;)

I suck at challenges but I do want to read this. I love the makeup on the cover. Have fun reading!
