May Month in Review / June Preview

This month, we had a week-long Girls in Sports Week, and next month marks the return of the third annual Splash into Summer, mwah-haha!  I'm going to be returning to the sea for another splashtastic month of reading within the next week or two!

I also went to BEA for the first time ever this past week. I absolutely owe you a post--and pictures, since my phone wasn't letting my upload them (I seriously need a new one...trying to wait until August when they have all those great back-to-college sales to take advantage of the deals...).  I'm going to guesstimate that this post will come Tuesday. If I'm not exhausted tonight after working 9 hours, I'll put something together tonight. But I'm still catching up on sleep because of BEA, so I can't promise!!!

*Nothing! I finished a book right before BEA, but haven't read anything since then, believe it or not! I was with friends in NYC, so we chatted all the time or slept when we weren't at BEA, lol. I know what I'm reading first, but I have to look into whether or not it's a secret before sharing that info since it's a bound manuscript (Which I've never had before, so eee!) I also still need to read THE 5TH WAVE by Rick Yancy so I can share it with a co-worker, but I keep putting it off because, you know, aliens...

So these two are likely next!

PLANNING TO READ IN MAY:

This month, I can't even begin to guess at what I'm going to read. I did a really good job reading a lot of the books on my list last month, but a lot still remain, too.  And now I have all the shiny new BEA books begging to be read.

I will tell you that I will be reading a LOT of books featuring mermaids, selkies, etc. to prep for Splash into Summer.

There's too much I want to read to even attempt listing it all, especially since I won't get to half of it! So this month, mum's the word, sorry!

  1. Bonnie! Again, it was seriously so nice to meet you at BEA, I had a great time talking to you. Excited to see what you have planned for your event this coming month--give me some good selkie books. :P
