*THE ONE I LEFT BEHIND by Jennifer McMahon
[Out Jan. 02, 2013]
{Thank you to HarperCollins/William Morrow! I've been wanting to read this author for a long time.  This is the latest in a list of titles I want to read by her!  Maybe someday I'll get to DISMANTLED, PROMISE NOT TO TELL, and DON'T BREATHE A WORD...I hope!}

Purchased Books:

*THE LOST GATE by Orson Scott Card
{I've wanted to read this for a couple of years now, and I couldn't resist buying it when I found it in the Last Chance Remainders Bin! Great Deal!}

*LUKA AND THE FIRE OF LIFE by Salman Rushdie
{I've heard that this author is amazing, plus, he's won several major writing awards.  This book has to do with mythology, so of course, I again couldn't resist buying it when I found it in the Last Chance Remainders Bin! Great Deal!}

E-ARCs for Review:

*PIVOT POINT by Kasie West
[Out Feb. 12, 2013]
{Thank you to HarperTeen and Edelweiss!  I remember being intrigued by this one the moment I saw its gorgeous cover!  It looks great!}

*TAKEN by Erin Bowman
[Out April 16, 2013]
{Thank you to HarperTeen and Edelweiss!  Again, I remember reading about how the cover design was constructed and being intrigued, so my eyes have been on this one ever since!}

*DESTINY, REWRITTEN by Kathryn Fitzmaurice
[Out March 1, 2013]
{Thank you to HarperCollins/Katherine Tegen and Edelweiss!  This is one already being recommended for April is Poetry month!  I  have to wonder if the cover designer also did KAT, INCORRIGIBLE by Stephanie Burgis, because this cover has the same whimsy. I love books about books, and this one sounds sweet!}

*THE GIRL WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE by April Henry
[Out June 11, 2013]
{Thank you to Macmillan/Henry Holt and Edelweiss!  I've read both of April Henry's other teen novels, GIRL, STOLEN and THE NIGHT SHE DISAPPEARED [review here], and this sounds like another edge-of-your-seat mystery from her!}

*BUBBLE WORLD by Carol Snow
[Out July 30, 2013]
{Thank you to Macmillan/Henry Holt and Edelweiss!  This one sounds like it could go either way, but I've liked several Henry Holt imprint titles before, so I'm willing to give this one a try, too!}

*THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE CURSED by Page Morgan
[Out May 14, 2013]
{Thank you to Random House/Delacorte and Edelweiss!  This is about gargoyles and for fans of Libba Bray, so why not give it a try?}

*DUALED by Elsie Chapman
[Out Feb. 26, 2013]
{Thank you to Random House and Edelweiss! I've seen this one around, but it wasn't until the author came up on a Twitter conversation the other day that I really started paying attention!}

*PANTOMINE by Hannah Harrington
[Out Feb. 5, 2013]
{Thank you to Angry Robot and Netgalley! This one was from last week, oops!  The cover and summary intrigue me, so I'm excited to check this out!}

*POSION by Bridget Zinn
[Out March 12, 2013]
{Thank you to Disney Hyperion and Netgalley! I have wanted this one for months and months and MONTHS.  Seriously, since it was a small publishing deal write-up.  I WANT THIS SO MUCH.  I kind of freaked out a little when I saw it on Netgalley...okay, maybe a lot.  I think this is the book that I am the MOST excited about this week.  Ahhh!}

    1. Agreed! It's always nice to see what people pick up! I'm very fortunate to be auto-approved for so much, although it also means I get more than I can read. :( I do try, though!

      POISON sounds so fantastic, eek! <3

  2. Wow, a great haul. I was REALLY excited to get Pantomine on NG for myself. It looks fabulous. I really wanted Poison, too but Disney doesn't allow bloggers to have their books. Are you a librarian? Or how did you get this one, tell me your secrets?!

    1. While I'm not a librarian, it is work-related. I'm actually on auto-approval with many publishers on both Netgalley and Edelweiss because of my job. I'm very fortunate! Check Twittter :)
