Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
Every once in a while I participate in this one when I either 1) Like the theme, and/or 2) Have the time!
This week's topic:
Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List!
1) BITTERBLUE by Kristin Cashore
It's finally here (almost), ahhhh!!! GRACELING is my favorite teen fantasy, and I have compared a LOT of authors to her. I can't wait for more!
2) INSURGENT by Veronica Roth
I adored DIVERGENT and can't wait to finally get my hands on the second book in this smoking hot trilogy!
3) FOR DARKNESS SHOWS THE STARS by Diana Peterfreund
I've wanted this one since the book sold in 2010 and I read the write-up. When I saw the book's gorgeous cover and started drooling, I wanted it all over again! I'm having a LOT of trouble waiting for this one!
4) THE SELECTION by Kiera Cass
This is ANOTHER one I've been coveting since the book sold in 2010 and ANOTHER one with a cover designed to make me drool. I'm really excited about this one, too!
5) STRUCK by Jennifer Bosworth
I had never heard of this one until I saw it in MacMillan's catalog. I was so thankful when I was sent a copy. So far, I've been a REALLY good girl and have held off on reading it, but I'm going to cave in really soon!
6) BITTERBLUE by Kristin Cashore
It's finally here (almost), ahhhh!!! GRACELING is my favorite teen fantasy, and I have compared a LOT of authors to her. I can't wait for more!
7) BLACK HEART by Holly Black
I love the new covers for this series and wish I had WHITE CAT to match, but it's signed, so *shrug*
I'm really excited to read this installment. Love Holly Black!
8) BETWEEN THE LINES by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer
I love Jodi Picoult. I love teen fantasy. I love fairy tales. In a perfect world, a book would have all of this and more. Welcome to my perfect world! I completely flipped out when I snagged an ARC of this yesterday, so expect a review next month during Fairy Tale Fortnight!
9) STORM by Brigid Kemmerer
This book sounds incredible. I've wanted to read it ever since author Sarah J. Maas wrote about Brigid's publishing deal. I'm so excited for her!
10) SURRENDER by Elana Johnson
I LOVED Elana's debut novel POSSESSION. Seriously. LOVED! I don't understand why more people haven't discovered and fallen for this one. I can't wait to see where she goes next!
This week was really hard!! Choosing ONLY ten? There are so many! Like, like, like...! If I didn't have to leave for work soon, maybe I'd cheat and do more! ^.~
What books are you dying to read this season?
heeheehee! you and your bitterblue!
ReplyDeletei'm really excited because i get to read Emily White's ELEMENTAL soon! she said she was signing my arc! YAY! (i did the cover art on that one... the photo was not mine... but the photo on the next cover i'll have come out is mine!!! YAY!!!)
I don't talk about BITTERBLUE that often, do I? *blinks* I didn't think I mentioned it on the blog a lot!
DeleteI had no clue you did the cover art for ELEMENTAL or designed covers. You should totally visit and do a feature with me sometime if you're up for it! <3 I can't wait to see your pic on the second book!!
Great list. Insurgent will end up probably being on a list a little later when it is published and Struck as well since Ill be meeting her in June for a signing :)
ReplyDeleteINSURGENT will be a "right away" for me. I've been holding off on STRUCK for so long now and I always pick it up and hold off. I don't think I can much longer. I'm considering going to a signing with her in June as well!!
DeleteI can't wait to hear your thoughts when the time comes <3
