Here’s my (very belated) book loot from June! I got backed up with all the Splash stuff going on. I also wound up not posting my May loot in June (even though I made a video). …Oops? At this point, I figure no one cares, so I didn’t bother posting it. I did, however, think it was wrong not to give extra promotion to the authors and publishers of the ARCs I received to build buzz, so I made a second video just for May and June ARCs that I’ll hopefully post on Monday or Tuesday (I won’t post it tomorrow due to it being IMM day).
I have quite a few titles again for the month. This time, my excuse is that we had a big sale at work and I stocked up! I do this every time, especially with paperbacks. Hardcovers can be preordered online (or through the store shipped to your house) for super-cheap, but paperbacks never go on sale!
*HOURGLASS by Myra McEntire (and a matching poster!)
*GATEHOUSE: THE DOOR TO CANELLIN by E.H. Jones (Won from The Flashlight Reader, thank you! Check out her wonderful review, which made me want to read this!)
*HOUNDED (IRON DRUID CHRONICLES #1) by Kevin Hearne
*HEXED (IRON DRUID CHRONICLES #2) by Kevin Hearne
*KNIGHTLEY ACADEMY by Violet Haberdasher (My review of this amazing book!)
*CASCADE (THE RIVER OF TIME TRILOGY #2) by Lisa T. Bergren
*ON THE JELLICOE ROAD by Melina Marchetta (Did this go through a title change? My copy just says JELLICOE ROAD...)
*AURELIA by Anne Osterlund
*EXILE (Companion to AURELIA) by Anne Osterlund
*SIRENZ by Charlotte Bennardo and Natalie Zaman
*BLOOD RED ROAD by Moira Young
*SISTERHOOD EVERLASTING (SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS, 10 years later!) by Ann Brashares
*POSSESSION by Elana Johnson (Which I read FOREVER ago and have yet to review because I'm lame like that...)

ReplyDeleteDarn iPhone makes so many lousy auto corrections I had to delete my last post. I am interested in Jelicoe Road. I think I can get that from the digital library. Blood Red Road is a long one. I may just buy that one. I won Hourglass. Possession is one I'm curious about. Enjoy your books. happy reading.

@Flashlight: Oh yes! For my birthday, I asked for more shelf space! LOL! I can't wait to read GATEHOUSE!
ReplyDelete@Ashley: I bought it because of YOU, darling!! Haha, I didn't choose the still image, YouTube did. I have no clue if I even can choose!
@Gina: Ah, the perils of technology! I can't wait to read Jellicoe Rd. I hear it's so good! Same with Blood Red Road. Possession was REALLY good. I liked it a lot!
@Sally: I can't wait to read the three you mentioned! Everyone says Jellicoe is an all-time favorite. I can't wait!
Cascade!!! :D Looking forward to your thoughts on the Iron Druid books. They've really been catching my eye with all the blogger love they've been getting lately (the covers help, too!)
