Patrick Ness has written so many stunning books, from A MONSTER CALLS to THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO. This also isn't his first rodeo show when it comes to retellings: he previously wrote THE CRANE WIFE as well.
His latest novel, AND HTE OCEAN WAS OUR SKY, retells the classic novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Early readers have said remarkable things about it, shooting it up my TBR!
These Twisted Tales from Disney and Liz Bramwell ask, what if? What if Ursula was never defeated? What if Ursula was a queen on human land? What if Ariel was a queen of the sea? I love how different this one sounds, and while I haven't read all the books in the series, this one really intrigues me!
