30 LGBT+ Retellings
The very best retellings are always full of suspense and intrigue: secret identities, unknown surprises and forbidden romances. Queer retellings of classic stories allow these 'universal' stories to connect with a wider audience, with a community that has often been ignored by such narratives. Luckily, through a combination of a trend for retellings and a move towards more diverse storytelling, there are plenty of LGBT+ reimaginings to pick from.
Here are 30 to pick from.
I'd love to know if you've managed to find a queer version of your favourite tale.
