Fairy tales are on my list too, and I agree, I'll definitely pick up a book if I see that one of my favorite authors is advertising it! :) My TTT list: http://aliceinreaderland.com/2013/04/29/topicsword/

Mermaids are on my list as well. They're my favorite supernatural creature because of all the different mythologies behind them, and all the different ways the manifest - from broken, damaged girls, to beautiful, shipwrecking sirens, to nautical demons. I love them all.

What a fun list! Yes to a gorgeous cover. Because I judge books by their covers and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I love mythology and fairytales, too. Great list!

How fun! Thanks for including Tangled Tides. :)
ReplyDeletePretty covers and enticing blurbs always grab my attention.
LOL, I totally guessed that fairy tales and mermaids would be on your list ;P Fairy tales for me as well, of course, and also anything that hints at intriguing psychology :D
ReplyDeleteI appreciate books about books or writers as well. I'm currently reading The Odyssey, though, which would definitely fit into your mythology section!
ReplyDeleteI picked castles, magic and fairy tales in my post too!
