Cover Art REVEALED: EVERBOUND by Brodi Ashton

To me, the cover for EVERBOUND by Brodi Ashton is just as gorgeous as its predecessor for EVERBOUND:

EVERBOUND by Brodi Ashton

I adored the cover for EVERNEATH.  It's probably one of my favorite covers of 2012, and a book I had to own in hardcover and not e-book format because it was so beautiful.

I'm having trouble choosing a favorite cover now!  They're both so beautiful.  I think EVERNEATH is still my favorite because the red really makes the dress POP and the fabric is made of something gossamer and almost fantastic.  I love the way you can't tell if the model is stepping out of the smoke or melting into it.  I adore the way the smoke is various shades of white, gray, and black.

I like the way this theme continues with EVERBOUND.  In addition to white, gray, and black, the smoke also has a tint of red, echoing the first book and the matching title treatment.  With this book, the model is obviously stepping out of the smoke and becoming whole again.  The cover is also much darker.  The wisps of disappearing/re-appearing...fabric? hair? ...isn't quite as obvious as with EVERNEATH, but overall, I think the cover is still fabulous.  It has me really excited to read this sequel!

What are your thoughts on this week's cover choice?
