Mythological Mondays: Cover Love for EMBERS AND ECHOES by Karsten Knight

Mythological Mondays is a feature I created to spotlight books brimming with--you guessed it--mythology! I adore this sub-genre and can't wait to share my love with all of my fellow bookworms! This feature isn't just focused on novel reviews; it may also include interviews, looks at original mythological tales, etc. Please feel free to do this with me! If you guys ever do a mythological feature and want to join this and snag my lovely mermaid, I would LOVE to see the feature. I’ve even included a Linkbox for you. It doesn’t have to be Greek mythology, or even mythology per say. It can be mermaids, unicorns, or heck, even fairy tales (because I’m too lazy to do a separate fairy tale feature…). It doesn’t even have to be every Monday. I’m sure there will be Mondays when I skip, too. ^_^

Thanks to a post on Little Shelf's blog, I discovered that the cover for Karsten Knight's follow-up to WILDEFIRE was recently revealed!

I think it's really pretty...plus, it reminded me that I STILL haven't read WILDEFIRE yet.  I'm actually really ashamed about this fact because I won an ARC and I received an actual copy of the book as a birthday present.  I'm horrible, I know.  This will be rectified this year...before EMBERS AND ECHOES releases on August 28th, hopefully!

Originally, I wasn't going to have a Mythological Mondays post today because I haven't read anything with mythology lately, but when I saw Jennifer's post and how pretty EMBERS AND ECHOES is, I decided to feature it here since the Wildefire Trilogy incorporates mythology.  And since lately, all of my Cover Crazy posts have featured multiple titles, I didn't really want to overwhelm you all again.

But but but....!  This is still totally a cover post!  And doesn't EMBERS AND ECHOES have such a pretty new face?

I love both covers, but I think I like this one more, perhaps due to the color palette.  I also like the unique perspective on both covers!

Did you do a Mythological Mondays post?
